Naiza Davila

LEAD PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Naiza has spent her entire life keeping her body in motion, whether through sports, cheerleading or dancing. In 2013, she became a professional certified coach, sharing her passion for support and guidance with others. When health issues limited her mobility, Naiza turned to “movement” again to heal herself, and in 2015 she became a certified yoga instructor – again passing along her positive experiences to others.

When she was first introduced to Pilates, Naiza recognized the added benefits this exercise offered its students, including the value of body awareness and self-confidence. Her philosophy is to take small steps towards great goals to navigate through the vulnerabilities found deep within the body.

Naiza’s extraordinary energy and sense of humor enable her to deeply connect with her students, enabling them to bridge the gap between their minds and bodies through mindful engagement and movement. A resident of Central Florida for over 30 years, Naiza is currently one of the Pilates Education Mentors at Soteria Pilates Maitland & Winter Garden as well as the lead instructor for both locations!

Once studio life settles and her two little kids are both in school full time, she plans on starting a part time MSW program to be able to further integrate the mental and physical worlds of the human body. When the Pilates hat can come off for a moment,

Naiza enjoys spending time with her family, impromptu friend hangouts and having someone else tell her what to do with her movement in group classes at Soteria and weight training at Hardcore Altamonte Springs.

Ciara Lopez

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2013. In high school (2019) I started my Pilates journey. My ASL teacher was getting her Pilates certification and needed a guinea pig to practice teaching, which is how I fell in love with Pilates.

After moving to Orlando to study at UCF as a double major in Real Estate and Political Science, I found my way back to Pilates and have felt amazing ever since. Pilates has created a great awareness in my own body as it has helped me ease back pains due to scoliosis.

Additionally, I have seen how Pilates is a therapeutic form of exercise, helping heal the body by lengthening and strengthening it. Pilates has been a blessing for me and I want to help others feel like their best selves.

Gianna Znidarcic

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Hi im Gia! I’m all about making movement functional and fun. As someone who lives with scoliosis as an ex cheerleader,

I’m passionate about emphasizing spinal mobility and restorative movements to help you feel great and build strength. I love working with athletes and dancers, but really, I enjoy helping anyone move better, feel stronger, and have a good time while doing it.

My classes are all about creating a relaxed, casual environment where we can challenge your body, improve your mobility, and most importantly, have fun!

Katie Thompson

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Katie’s interest in Pilates started in high school through her extensive dance training. Pilates became an essential part of her recovery from an ankle injury her senior year and she was easily hooked.

After receiving her BFA in dance, she graduated from the Polestar Pilates Program with a 500 Hour Certification and her National Pilates Teacher Certification.

Katie loves inspiring others to move better in their bodies. “This is movement therapy!” You can expect Katie’s classes to be challenging, creative and fun, but you’re always working on building upon Pilates fundamental principles. You will feel an engagement in your muscles you have never felt before and you will be sore for days!

When she isn’t busy teaching classes and private trainings, you can find her running the Soteria Mentorship Program for our junior instructors, so that one day they can be as awesome as she is!

Samantha Generotti

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Samantha grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.

Upon graduation, she relocated to New York City, where she performed as a professional dancer. During her time in New York, she pursued and earned a Pilates certification from Master Trainer and Springboard inventor Ellie Herman in 2013.

Her studies and clinical experience working as a physical therapy aide has ignited a passion to help clients who suffer from injuries, particularly those with lower back pain.

She lives by Joseph Pilates’ philosophy that “it is the mind itself that shapes the body.” As a result, she integrates her vast knowledge of the body into her teachings and is driven to help clients gain strength, flexibility, and most importantly, awareness of their own bodies.

Chelsea Enderes

Chelsea has two kids, two cats, and a corgi named Kipp! Her Pilates journey started less than a year ago but has helped her in so many ways.

Chelsea is definitely one of those people now that tells everyone, “Oh, you should do Pilates!” because she loves how much it can help people of all a shapes and sizes.
